“Hi, this is NYU calling. The doctor’s office.”
“Hello?” I yell, straining to hear my iPhone through the cacophony of a New York City bus.
“It’s the doctor’s office. We just wanted to let you know that those tests on the right side are fine.”
“Yes,” the voice says, a nurse I think. For heaven’s sake, the MTA bus and passengers make more noise than a plane taking off. “They’re benign,” the faint voice says.
“Great.” I say.
So much more to say, and yet not. At least I won’t have to change the name of this blog.
